dance par course, an interactive lawn installation. Laminated inkjet prints with pencil on paper, 6' bamboo polls, and white field paint, 2013
My score, Infinite Game (score for multiple dancers), 2013 has been reimagined as a large scale installation. What had been a two-dimensional diagram is now an immersive sculpture. The score can be engaged in a new way. In a manner which facilitates viewers' embodied translation of the work. Promoting experimentation, this play-space is a laboratory that emphasizes process, practice, and play.
Guidelines for play: Enter at any point. Follow a line or begin at a placard. At each placard recreate the shape or let it inspire you to create movement in stillness or movement that moves you along a path to another placard.
